Poster depicting Akhilesh Yadav as Lord Krishna appears in UP; BJP labels it 'insult to Hindus'
On his birthday, a poster depicting Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav as Lord Krishna appeared in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The poster was installed by Samajwadi Party leader Ajay Fauji, who also organized a havan to mark Akhilesh Yadav's birthday. BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari termed the depiction an insult to Hindus, stating that "Hindus will respond to these 'Kaalnemis' (demons)".
