Ricky Ponting revealed he jokingly warned Michael Hussey that he would stop talking to him if he accepted an offer to become England's batting coach. The approach was made informally by England's new Test head coach, Stephen Fleming. Ponting remarked, "I saw Hussey...and said, 'If you take that job I'll never speak to you again.'"
