Police shoot suspect in Shivamogga grandmother murder case
Shivamogga police fired at a 26-year-old murder suspect, hitting him in the leg, after he reportedly assaulted a constable with a machete while officers were trying to arrest him. The suspect, identified as Kishore, is accused of killing his 65-year-old grandmother, Susheelamma, and then running away. According to officials, he refused to give himself up despite multiple warnings. Both the wounded officer and the suspect are currently in stable condition.
