Police block Mohammad Deepak from visiting Sonam Wangchuk at Safdarjung Hospital

Deepak Kumar, a gym trainer from Uttarakhand who gained attention in January for identifying as Mohammad Deepak while protecting a Muslim shopkeeper from Bajrang Dal members, traveled to Safdarjung Hospital to see Sonam Wangchuk. Deepak stated, "I spoke to Gitanjali ma’am (Wangchuk's wife)...She said my support would mean a lot to Sonam. That’s why I came..but the police did not allow me inside."
