During his trip to Indonesia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motorcade was accompanied by hundreds of motorcyclists and guards on horseback as it arrived at the Merdeka Palace. Footage of the elaborate ceremonial reception was released, showing Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto greeting PM Modi with a warm embrace. PM Modi was also presented with a formal guard of honour and is scheduled to engage in bilateral discussions with President Subianto.
