On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport located in Bhogapuram, Andhra Pradesh. Built with an investment of ₹5,640 crore, the airport's architecture draws inspiration from the region's Araku Valley, flying fish, and traditional Chuttilu cottages. During his visit to Bhogapuram, the Prime Minister is also set to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various other infrastructure projects valued at more than ₹17,900 crore.
