Poland’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Wladyslaw Teofil Bartoszewski, stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the select global leaders who hold sway over Russian President Vladimir Putin. While commending India’s efforts to stop the Russia-Ukraine conflict from escalating, he asserted that PM Modi was instrumental in discouraging Russia from deploying tactical nuclear weapons during the fighting in late 2022.
