Phoebe Gates was reportedly aware of Phia's misleading sales claims
According to a Bloomberg report, Phoebe Gates, daughter of Bill Gates, knew about features in her startup Phia that falsely claimed sales commissions. This knowledge existed at least seven months before the firm attributed the issue to a technical bug. This timeline conflicts with a statement from July, where leadership claimed they had identified the tracking problem only "within the last 24 hours." It is worth noting that the app's daily earnings dropped once these features were turned off.
