Penguin India requested Sonia Gandhi to remove mentions of PM Modi and RSS from book; she declined
According to a report by the Hindustan Times, Sonia Gandhi’s memoir, 'Belonging: A Journey of Love,' encountered a conflict with Penguin Random House India. The publisher had requested edits to sections concerning Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the RSS, and Chinese border incursions. Gandhi reportedly stood her ground, asserting that the book is her personal account and that she would not permit any alterations. The memoir is slated for publication by Alfred A. Knopf, an imprint of Penguin.
