According to a Moneycontrol report, US fintech firm PayPal has terminated approximately 600 employees in India as part of a global cost-cutting restructuring effort. The layoffs impacted staff within the engineering, technology, finance, payments, and operations departments across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. While affected workers were told they would receive one month of severance pay, they reported that the funds have not yet been disbursed.
