Parliamentary committee proposes NEET and NTA reforms following exam leak
A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, headed by Congress MP Mukul Wasnik, has advised holding the NEET-UG exam in several phases across different states to better manage logistics and boost security. The panel also suggested that the NTA, which is presently an autonomous agency under the Education Ministry, should be granted statutory status via parliamentary legislation. These recommendations come in the wake of the recent NEET paper leak scandal.
