Pakistan raises fuel rates as West Asia tensions escalate
Pakistan has raised the cost of petrol and high-speed diesel by more than PKR 13 (roughly ₹4) per litre. This adjustment brings the price of petrol to PKR 310.71 (₹106) and HSD to PKR 323.30 (₹110) per litre. Fuel costs in the country have seen a significant jump due to the ongoing US-Iran conflict. Previously, on April 3, petrol prices in Pakistan hit an all-time high of PKR 458.41 (₹157) per litre.
