Pakistan deploys 4,000 additional soldiers to PoK before July 15 protests
Ahead of the anti-government demonstrations scheduled for July 15, Pakistan is set to dispatch 4,000 soldiers and seven extra wings of the Pakistan Rangers to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. This move will bring the total count of paramilitary personnel stationed in the area to over 17,500. The Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC), which is spearheading the movement in PoK, has declared plans for a long march toward Muzaffarabad on that date.
