On Wednesday, 93-year-old Padma Shri award-winning singer Purna Das Baul reached out to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for assistance in recovering his agricultural land located in Birbhum. The singer's son has accused former Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Anubrata Mondal of illegally seizing four bighas of their property. Furthermore, the family stated that their home was torn down and they were forced to leave the premises.
