Over 100 medical colleges receive notices from NMC

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has sent notices to more than 100 medical institutions for not adhering to mandatory standards. These colleges were reported to have insufficient patient counts, as well as a shortage of doctors, faculty members, and support staff. The institutions have been granted a 45-day window to address these deficiencies, or they could face severe consequences, such as a suspension of their MBBS admission process.
