Over 10 lakh e-notices sent for toll violations at MLFF plazas in three months
Between May and July 2026, roughly one out of every ten vehicles passing through barrier-free Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) toll stations received an e-notice for failing to pay. These violations were largely caused by illegible license plates or the absence of FASTags. Out of 1.10 crore total vehicle crossings, authorities issued 10.52 lakh notices. The Choryasi plaza in Gujarat saw the most frequent violations, with a rate of 11.97%. So far, approximately 40% of the owed toll payments have been collected.
