Opposition parties exit all-party meeting ahead of Parliament session
A day prior to the start of the monsoon session of Parliament on July 20, the complete Opposition staged a walkout from an all-party meeting. The group of parties that left the session included the Congress, Samajwadi Party, DMK, Aam Aadmi Party, Shiv Sena (UBT), JMM, National Conference, and the Left parties. According to TMC MP Mahua Moitra, the protest was triggered by the invitation extended to 20 rebel TMC members.
