OpenAI is discontinuing its Atlas browser after less than a year

OpenAI has revealed it will close Atlas, the AI-driven web browser it introduced last October to challenge rivals like Apple's Safari and Google Chrome. The browser enabled users to visit any site and chat about the content with ChatGPT. According to OpenAI, the company is moving the best features of Atlas directly into ChatGPT and a dedicated Google Chrome extension.
