OpenAI cutting ties with Cursor following SpaceX acquisition
OpenAI is set to terminate its partnership that supplies AI models to the coding platform Cursor. The move comes after Cursor was bought by Elon Musk’s SpaceX, with OpenAI raising issues regarding potential terms of service breaches. This follows previous allegations from OpenAI that firms owned by Musk have failed to honor contractual agreements. OpenAI intends to give ample warning, with the current access for Cursor scheduled to expire on November 12, 2026.
