Omar Abdullah calls for better India-Pakistan ties
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah stated that the friction between India and Pakistan has been ongoing for three to four decades, worsening significantly following the terror strike in Pahalgam. He mentioned that a formal request is being sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a letter, urging him to explore avenues for normalizing relations between the two nations. Abdullah further highlighted that RSS leader Mohan Bhagwat has also previously expressed support for holding talks between the two countries.
