Odisha's Jagannath Temple holds ₹1,912 crore in deposits and 60,821 acres of land

The Jagannath Temple located in Puri, Odisha, possesses bank deposits totaling approximately ₹1,912 crore along with 60,821 acres of land spread nationwide, according to an official statement. This is in addition to the gold and diamond jewelry stored within the Ratna Bhandar. As of August 31, a total of ₹1,811.10 crore was maintained in fixed deposits across three different schemes. At present, an inventory of the temple's valuables is underway.
