Number of solo founders making $1 million-plus has doubled in two years
Artificial intelligence is allowing individual entrepreneurs to launch and grow companies without needing big teams by handling coding, office tasks, and other essential functions. According to a study by Stripe, the count of solo-run businesses bringing in more than $1 million annually has doubled from 2023 to 2025. Meanwhile, the number of such businesses hitting $10 million in revenue has nearly tripled, with this growth being particularly prominent in the technology industry.
