NSE likely to approach SEBI for listing its own shares on its exchange

According to a CNBC-TV18 report, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is considering asking SEBI for permission to list and trade its own shares on its exchange. This plan was brought up during the exchange's recent IPO roadshow, and the NSE is expected to request a special 'permit-to-trade' status. Currently, there are 144 companies that are listed on the BSE but are also allowed to trade on the NSE platform.
