BSE CEO Sundararaman Ramamurthy has stated that the NSE is ineligible to list on its own platform following its proposed ₹30,000 crore IPO. Ramamurthy noted that the NSE has clarified that no addendum will be released to allow self-trading. He further mentioned that the BSE previously sought approval for self-trading in 2017 but was denied. These comments follow recent speculation suggesting the NSE might facilitate self-trading via the 'permitted to trade' category.
