Norwegian Air switches Instagram logo to British Airways following World Cup wager loss
Norway's primary airline, Norwegian Air, updated its Instagram profile icon to feature the British Airways logo as a result of a lost FIFA World Cup bet. Before the quarter-final match between Norway and England, the airline proposed a wager to British Airways: if Norway lost, they would trade Instagram profile pictures for 24 hours, and the same would apply if England lost. Following England’s 2-1 victory in extra time, Norwegian Air followed through on the agreement.
