Norway's Sorloth speaks out on not passing to Haaland after receiving death threats
Alexander Sorloth has spoken out after receiving death threats for taking a shot rather than passing to Erling Haaland during a two-on-one play against England. "After my first touch...I looked up and saw John Stones blocking the passing lane. I took another touch...but that touch was poor," he explained. He further mentioned that he wanted to pass the ball but decided to shoot instead, believing the pass would not succeed.
