No sugar shortage in UP, 28 lakh tonnes available: CM Yogi
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has rejected fears regarding a sugar shortage, asserting that the state has sufficient supplies. He stated, "The monthly sugar requirement in UP is 4 lakh tonnes, and we currently hold a stock of 28 lakh tonnes." He further remarked that the state is capable of supplying sugar not just to its 25 crore residents, but to the entire Indian population of 140 crore.
