NLSIU students join NALSAR protest against CJI's convocation invite
A group of students and alumni from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) have expressed their disapproval regarding the invitation of CJI Surya Kant and Bar Council of India Chairman Manan Kumar Mishra to their next convocation ceremony. A formal letter, backed by 165 students set to graduate, 409 existing students, and 128 alumni, stated their support for the students at NALSAR. This follows an earlier incident where Mishra issued an apology after he had previously suspended the enrollment process for NALSAR’s 2026 graduating class.
