Fugitive businessman Nirav Modi is expected to be extradited to India soon following the rejection of his appeal by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). Modi had turned to the ECHR in April once he had run out of legal avenues in the UK. He is sought by Indian authorities for his alleged involvement in a massive Punjab National Bank fraud and an associated money laundering investigation.
