Nine people held following assault on tourist family in Maharashtra
A group of local men reportedly attacked a tourist family visiting the Bhavali Dam waterfall in Igatpuri. The suspects allegedly tried to molest a woman in the group and then beat the family members with iron rods and sticks after they fought back. The attackers also robbed the victims, vandalized their car, and pursued them for about 8 to 15 kilometers. Authorities have taken nine individuals into custody, and the case is currently being investigated.
