New study shows 79% of Indians skip calls from unfamiliar businesses

According to a report by Truecaller and Tata Tele Business Services, which was conducted by Kantar, nearly 79% of people in India ignore incoming calls from unknown business contacts. Even though 76% of users still favor voice communication, a lack of trust and attention causes many to dodge these calls. Truecaller noted that customers want to know who is calling and why, which would help boost interaction and establish greater reliability.
