New safety rules implemented at Lohagad Fort and Tiger Point
Authorities in Pune have introduced tighter safety protocols across 10 popular tourist spots in the Lonavala and Maval areas, such as Tiger Point, Bhushi Dam, Tung Fort, and Lohagad Fort, for the monsoon season. Tourists are now prohibited from entering deep water, sitting under waterfalls, or capturing selfies near cliff edges and other high-risk zones. These measures are set to stay in effect until August 31 to help prevent accidents.
