New Jersey Independence Day event marks new Guinness World Record
A new Guinness World Record for the "Largest Flagpole Number" was achieved at Veterans Memorial Park in New Jersey. The feat took place during a combined celebration of India's 80th Independence Day and the 250th anniversary of the United States. Participants used more than 1,300 American flags to create the number "250," which was encircled by Indian tricolour flags. This was one of many activities organized throughout the US to commemorate India's Independence Day.
