New Chinese memory chip mimics human brain, outperforming Nvidia's A100

Researchers in China have developed a 40-nanometre memory chip capable of simulating intricate brain structures instantaneously. This technology holds the potential to revolutionize how medical professionals diagnose and treat diseases such as Alzheimer's. The chip is capable of mapping brain surfaces in less than 0.5 seconds and operates between 50 and 478 times faster than Nvidia's leading A100 GPU. Additionally, the device is able to visualize the folds of the human brain.
