Nepal woman found alive 10 days after deadly floods while family was mourning her death
A 60-year-old woman has been rescued alive 10 days after destructive flash floods hit Nepal, having survived in a small air pocket inside her ruined house surrounded by mud and water. Rescue workers heard her cries for assistance while they were clearing the rubble. Her family members, who assumed she had passed away, had already started their 11-day mourning rituals before she was saved.
