Nepal struck by earthquake following deadly flash floods
On Tuesday evening, a 5.0 magnitude earthquake jolted regions of Nepal, just two weeks following devastating flash floods that claimed more than 1,300 lives. Nepal previously experienced a 3.2 magnitude tremor on August 27. Authorities estimate that over 5,000 individuals remain missing due to the flooding, as search teams concentrate their efforts on three hydropower project tunnels where many workers are feared trapped.
