Nepal floods: 33 more Indians rescued, 285 remain untraceable
The Ministry of External Affairs confirmed that 33 Indian citizens employed at the Trishuli-1 hydropower site in Nepal have been brought to safety, following reports that 73 workers were initially unreachable. The total count of rescued Indians has now reached 54, a figure that includes 21 pilgrims from Tamil Nadu who were on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Currently, 285 Indians remain missing, while the overall death toll from the flooding in Nepal has risen to 359.
