NCLT sets up 5-member bench to review Subhash Chandra's ₹6.25 crore settlement offer
The proposal by Zee founder Subhash Chandra to settle his debts has encountered a new hurdle, as three members of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) could not reach a consensus on its approval. Consequently, the NCLT has established a five-member bench to rule on the personal insolvency proceedings. Chandra had offered a payment of ₹6.25 crore to address total admitted claims amounting to approximately ₹22,006 crore.
