Navi Mumbai FDA confiscates dairy items and poor-quality milk valued at ₹12.23 lakh
On August 19, the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) carried out a food safety operation in Mahape, Navi Mumbai, resulting in the seizure of dairy goods and milk suspected to be of low quality, totaling ₹12.23 lakh. The inspection targeted three businesses: Bhaskar Dairy, PK Dairy, and Vijay Dairy. From Vijay Dairy alone, authorities confiscated 141 litres of milk, estimated at ₹1.10 lakh, due to concerns regarding its quality.
