Mumbai’s historic 152-year-old Karimi Library is currently working to preserve and digitize its collection of rare newspapers and books. This initiative involves the restoration and digitization of approximately 4,500 volumes at the library, along with another 30,000 items held at the Urdu Research Centre. The collection features more than 32 sacred Hindu texts, such as the Bhagvad Gita, Ramayan, Mahabharat, and Shiv Puran, all of which were published between 1867 and 1896.
