Mumbai resident sells handcrafted bookmarks to support daughter's schooling and help disabled artists
A bookmark vendor based in Mumbai is creating job opportunities for specially-abled artists. These individuals create every piece by hand and earn a portion of the proceeds from each sale. Dhananjay Panchal, the man behind the initiative, explained that he sells these bookmarks to pay for his daughter’s studies. He noted that he aims to create work for those with disabilities, stating, "I try to empower them through this initiative."
