Mumbai: Ganpati mandals get midnight deadline for loudspeakers on 4 visarjan days

The Mumbai Suburban Collector has granted permission for Ganpati mandals to operate loudspeakers between 6 am and 12 am during the four visarjan days of Ganeshotsav. These devices can be used on September 15, 18, 19, and 25, provided that all noise levels remain within the limits set by the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules. Ganeshotsav 2026 is scheduled to commence on September 14.
