Mumbai BMC school student finds glass in lunch; former mayor demands FDA investigation

A piece of glass was reportedly discovered inside a midday meal provided to pupils at a BMC-operated school in Mumbai. The issue surfaced when a student noticed a glass fragment in their mouth while eating. Kishori Pednekar, the former Mayor of Mumbai, slammed the school management and reached out to Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe to call for a formal probe.
