MSRTC keeps 10% fare increase in place until July 31 due to fuel prices

Those using ordinary Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) buses will keep paying 10% more for tickets through July 31. The state transport body has pushed back the end date for this temporary price rise by two weeks, pointing to increased diesel costs and ongoing financial strain. This hike first began on April 15 and was originally scheduled to expire on June 15, before being pushed to July 15.
