MP to implement UCC, only those in monogamous marriages can reside, says CM
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state administration plans to bring in the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the upcoming Monsoon Session of the Assembly. He stated that the new legislation will ensure that only individuals in a single marriage are permitted to live in Madhya Pradesh. Yadav further clarified that these rules will be applicable to residents of every religion. The legislative session is scheduled to take place between July 20 and July 25.
