MP: IIT-Indore roped in to relocate Lord Hanuman idol after machinery struggles
The Ujjain Municipal Corporation has reached out to IIT-Indore for assistance in carefully shifting a Lord Hanuman idol from a Madhya Pradesh temple, following unsuccessful attempts using heavy equipment. The temple priest stated that he wants the idol evaluated by experts using advanced technology and moved only once a thorough assessment is complete. An IIT team has already visited the site to inspect how deep the idol is embedded.
