MP government to award ₹25 lakh and jobs to CWG 2026 silver winners Yamini and Ajaya
The Madhya Pradesh state government has declared a cash prize of ₹25 lakh each, along with government employment, for Yamini Mourya and Ajaya Babu following their silver medal wins at the 2026 Commonwealth Games. Yamini secured the silver medal in the women's 57kg judo competition, while Ajaya earned his second-place finish in the men's 79kg weightlifting category. Minister Vishvas Sarang stated that their achievements will serve as a source of inspiration for young athletes across Madhya Pradesh.
