Mount Etna erupts again, footage captures lava descent
After a period of inactivity lasting several weeks, Mount Etna, Europe's most active volcano, has erupted. Captured video footage displays molten lava cascading down the mountainside, illuminating the darkness. Volcanic ash plumes climbed to approximately 7 kilometres in altitude, causing ash to settle in nearby communities. Due to the volcanic activity, authorities temporarily restricted airspace in the vicinity.
