Morocco's Ismael Saibari ruled out of World Cup quarter-final against France

Morocco striker Ismael Saibari is set to sit out the FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final clash with France following a hamstring issue picked up during the Round of 16 match against Canada. Morocco manager Mohamed Ouahbi stated, "He's not ready, but I hope it's not the end of the tournament for him." Saibari had previously found the net in all three of Morocco's group stage fixtures.
