Mobile phone survives 30,000-meter drop, earns Guinness World Record
A manufacturer of shockproof air-cushion cases put their product to the test by dropping a smartphone from an altitude of 30,607 meters—more than three times the height of Mount Everest. The device earned a Guinness World Record for the 'highest drop of a mobile phone in a phone case (natural landforms)' after it was retrieved from a remote area in Sweden with no damage at all. The entire descent took 25 minutes.
